forgive me for being brief, but i promised these guys a sneak peek, tonight, and it’s getting very late!

lauren only has a week or so to go….i’m so jealous at how good she looks! and i have 2 boys myself…..i know how exhausting they can be, but you wouldn’t know it with lauren. she’s 9 months pregnant, running around after 2 youngens….but she looks amazing!

yes, i know it’s only august…but seriously, NOW is the time to be thinking about booking in a family session with the aim of getting some amazing prints that can be used as christmas presents! the cut off for christmas sessions this year will be 15th november. this allows plenty of time for me to edit your session, for you to browse your gallery, and order…without that crazy, manic, rushed feeling that i get every christmas!

i’m currently doing up some special christmas packages – i’m thinking they will include some 2010 calendars, definitely some customised christmas cards, and a number of prints and products. if you have any other suggestions for what you might like to see included in any of my christmas packages…leave me a comment here, and i’ll see what i can do!

this is another little bundle of scrumptious baby that i am lucky enough to see grow up. this is luca’s 4th shoot with me, and what a little champion! i just adore his cheeks…and that grin is enough to keep me smiling all day long!

i hope i get a family session at the ekka every year, they are so much fun. so much colour, so much laughter, so much fairy floss, and not to mention dagwood dogs!!!!

when my good friend, ali was after a birthday present for neill, she asked me about a photo shoot. we came up with the idea of a photo shoot at the ekka, and after a huge effort on ali’s behalf, and also a fair bit of organisation, she managed to get neill to the ekka as a surprise. i could see he was a bit confused when i came waltzing up…..”meeting fiona at the ekka is my birthday present?????????” hey, i would make a good birthday present, wouldn’t i? anyway, we couldn’t have asked for a better day. it has been a bit quieter at the ekka this year (due to swine flu i guess?), but that makes it totally perfect for family portraits! luka and felix are wonderful to take photos of (i keep asking ali to bring them over so that can rub off on my kids). they looked so cute inhaling their dagwood dogs!

apparently the ekka is in for a brand new look, so goodbye ekka as we know it! can’t wait to see the ‘new you’ next year!

so, i’m back from inspireme09, and i had such an amazing time. it was totally exhausting, but so much fun! i learnt a bucketload of stuff, so now i just have to work on not forgetting it all, lol. i also met some amazing photographers who i am proud to now call my friends!

just a quick note to let my lovely clients know that i will away most of this week at a photography workshop, inspireme09. i’m so very excited to be spending this week with many like minded people, as well as gaining from the experience of 3 of the most inspiring and talented the US has to offer, JoeyL (yes, from THOSE twilight promotional photos!!!), Nichole Van, and Zack Arias. i’m a little bit terrified of mixing with the likes of this kind of talent….and a little bit terrified i’m going to giggle like a schoolgirl every time one of them comes near me….but i’m also terribly excited about what i’m going to gain from this workshop.
