one of the things i adore about my work (apart from having the PERFECT job of course) is when i get clients who come back to me regularly. these guys actually purchased one of my bump to bubba packages that last 12 months…so i saw summer in utero, as a newborn, as a 6 month old and now as a scrumptiously, gorgeous 1 year old. i love seeing kids grow up before my camera…and being able to capture each small phase in their life for their mum and dad. kids grow up so damn quickly, and this first 12 months surely flies….it’s so nice having it captured so you can look back and remember fondly!

phew, now that little bit of soppiness is out of road….check out summer again! here she is at 6 months and as a newborn and here she is all snug in her mama’s belly. she’s such a happy little thing…and what a little supermodel, huh?

she’s just recently learnt to clap and put her hands on her head…so cute!

and just to show you an out take…..this is the kind of face you get after a mouthful of sand!!! still pretty cute though!

whoah….we had it all with this session! a VERY willing almost 5 year old, a VERY unwilling 2 year old, a walk through knee deep water (for me, not for anyone else!), bubbles, lollipops, a flying cockatoo but most importantly lots and lots of laughs!

when kate contacted me she was very specific on wanting very natural, candid type photos, and that they definitely wouldn’t be all be wearing jeans with white shirts….which was total music to my ears! i love a bit of personality in a shoot, and i find that when everyone wears all of the same, the individual personality of each person doesn’t seem to come through as well. these guys were such a hoot, i had such a good time.

oh, rosie, by the way, max and sam said to say thank you VERY much for their stickers. sam even said that he has changed his mind, and he has now decided he wants to marry you (instead of harper, or amber, or any other of his “girlfriends”).

this gorgeous family was one of my very first portfolio building sessions….so it was so lovely to be able to come back and photograph them again…with the new addition, harry. big bro, cooper, was a little champion in front of the camera – i seriously need him to come and have a chat to my own boys, and show them how it’s done!

little harry took a while to go to sleep….but with a little patience, he soon dropped off, and i started my “baby moulding”!!

oh. my. god. this little chicken was an absolute 11month old star today! she was totally working it…as all supermodels should! even to the point of trying to push her mum out of the shot! denah, i would photograph you any day, my sweet little girl!
