this blog post is a little late after some technical issues last night (sorry katey!!!). so meet katey and andrew….

- katey and andrew are celebrating their anniversary tomorrow – happy anniversary guys!
- katey is 33 weeks pregnant
- katey is 33 weeks pregnant with TWINS!
- katey looks amazing for someone who is 33 weeks pregnant with twins!
- the sunset was nothing short of perfect at wellington point
- andrew digs kids who dig excavators ;)
- mozzies suck
- i must remember to get more mozzie spray for my camera bag

see what i mean? i think i was bigger than this with ONE baby!!

something a bit different for me, but i loved how this light hit katey’s belly

see? check this sunset. there aren’t many places in brisbane where we can get the sun setting over water, but you can always count on it being pretty spectacular at wellington point!!

again, it’s late, so i won’t muck around.

- byron is pregnant
- byron is gorgeous
- byron and ben are having a baby in the next few weeks
- byron has a gorgeous horse called bubba
- byron has the kind of quiet confidence about her that makes me think she won’t ever scream at her kids (and that makes me very jealous)
- ben has the kind of dry wit that i like

thanks guys, enjoy, can’t wait to meet your new “bubba” xx

sarah was my very last maternity session for 2009 (and only 2 families and 1 newborn to go!!!). it had just rained, so the colours were stunning.

sarah and mark, looking forward to meeting your new little bundle early next year. have a merry christmas xx

well, it’s been a crazy week. actually make that, it’s been a crazy few months. i’m looking forward to the christmas break. and then after that i get to photograph what is currently residing in michell’s belly! doesn’t she look amazing? i wish i had’ve looked that good pregnant. michell and her husband met me on the sandgate waterfront, one of my favourite places to photograph at. hope you enjoyed yourselves, guys, and i’ll be in touch soon xx

ps, more to come in the next few days with a stop motion video, as well as a sneak peek at MY family when my good friend, bec, photographed us yesterday. also, some news for next year. stay tuned!

georgina contacted me months ago – she was going to be up from Adelaide visiting my good friend, loz, and wanted photos of her belly as well as her family. loz and her family also came for some photos. and we got some gorgeous stuff, even if it did involve multiple ant bites (so sorry guys, must restock my stingoes supply VERY soon!).

and as you can see guys, you did fantastically well with the clothing. poor georgina freaked out after i posted something on facebook last week about some clients getting their clothing so perfect…..but she had nothing to worry about!

thanks so much guys, sorry this sneak peek is a little late. georgina and rabbit, hope you enjoyed your dinner last night, and happy anniversary! speak soon xx

i really like how everyone is looking at someone else here (except for the gorgeous eli – he made me laugh at how focussed he was at looking at the camera for me!!!)

i met up with natalie and brendan at my favourite location – sandgate @ low tide. i love shooting here. not only is it only 10mins from my house, but i just love the mud and the puddles and the light. b.e.a.u.t.i.f.u.l. and so was natalie. only a month to go, and just finished work. time to do some relaxing before the chaos of a newborn baby hits.

natalie and brendan, all the best for the next few weeks. enjoy your sneak peek!

this was my first maternity session in i-don’t-know-how-long but we had the perfect backdrop at wellington point, and with the dust covering the sun, it made for spectacular silhouette photos! i am pretty sure i squealed like a little girl when i realised that i had caught the seagulls flying past behind talita and john. these guys were so relaxed, which i always love, and i’m positive they are going to make awesome parents!

talita and john, good luck for the next few weeks, and i can’t wait to see you again after your new little guy or gal is born!

not a bad spot to photograph here, i swear….

especially when it’s low tide, makes for awesome reflections….

and the light was perfect…

even with this weird dust/yellow haze covering the sun. this shot wouldn’t have been the same without it though. and the birds, oh the birds!

forgive me for being brief, but i promised these guys a sneak peek, tonight, and it’s getting very late!

lauren only has a week or so to go….i’m so jealous at how good she looks! and i have 2 boys myself…..i know how exhausting they can be, but you wouldn’t know it with lauren. she’s 9 months pregnant, running around after 2 youngens….but she looks amazing!

guys, all the best with the next week or so. looking forward to hearing of the birth of your little girl! take care, and enjoy your sneak peek!

we started off at home and in the backyard

the confused look I’m getting from Dylan here is because I was pulling my whole “can you see the rainbow bird in my camera?” trick…and he obviously thought I was a complete nutter!

yes, i know it’s only august…but seriously, NOW is the time to be thinking about booking in a family session with the aim of getting some amazing prints that can be used as christmas presents! the cut off for christmas sessions this year will be 15th november. this allows plenty of time for me to edit your session, for you to browse your gallery, and order…without that crazy, manic, rushed feeling that i get every christmas!

i’m currently doing up some special christmas packages – i’m thinking they will include some 2010 calendars, definitely some customised christmas cards, and a number of prints and products. if you have any other suggestions for what you might like to see included in any of my christmas packages…leave me a comment here, and i’ll see what i can do!
